“…AirTran has installed JetPower® and JetAire®units in Baltimore (BWI), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and anticipates continuing the APU avoidance program in several other cities. According to AirTran 'fuel police', a significant reduction in fuel consumption was noted soon after we introduced the program in Atlanta.
