Reducing Operating Costs

Adding the right equipment might increase profitability.

JetAire® (pre-conditioned air) and JetPower® (ground power 400Hz) units allow the aircraft to turn off its APUs (auxiliary power units) while parked at the gate saving the airlines hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel and other related costs. It also reduces pollution, ramp congestion, and decreases operating and maintenance costs.

Potable Water (JetFlo®) and Jetway's baggage lift system can also be added to the bridge, and managed from the control panel located in the bridge’s cabin.

Another optional feature is the Apron Management System (AMS). AMS makes possible the communication among gates, airlines, subcontractors and airport authorities, by offering real-time computerized ‘snapshots’ of gate operations and equipment status including maintenance, availability, etc. Overall, AMS enhances gate efficiencies and facilitates assets management.
