Warranty

JBT AeroTech, Ground Support Equipment, warrants that new equipment (product) of its own manufacture is of good workmanship and is free from mechanical defects, provided that (1) the equipment is operated in accordance with the printed instructions of JBT AeroTech, (2) the equipment is used under the normal operating conditions for which it is designed, (3) the equipment is not subjected to misuse, negligence or accident, and (4) the equipment receives proper care, lubrication, protection, and maintenance in accordance with the printed instructions of JBT Aerotech under the supervision of trained personnel.

Customers Filing a Parts Warranty Claim

The standard warranty is 1-year parts only from the commissioning date. If a part fails within this warranty period and to make a warranty claim, a replacement can be ordered by contacting your regional office:

When you contact us please have the following information ready to assist in expediting the warranty request:

  1. Provide JBT product serial number
  2. Provide machine hours from engine hour meter
  3. JBT part number and quantity - If you are unable to locate the part number in your illustrated parts manual, please have a reference drawing that shows where the part is located.
  4. Provide description of problem with the unit, reason for failure or symptom of failure
  5. Obtain RGA number from FMC Warranty Department prior to returning parts to JBT
  6. Shipping address and phone number
  7. Indicate if unit is out of service (VOR-Vehicle Off Road)

A JBT representative will inform whether the part is in stock, and if not an expected lead time for shipment. As with all warranty orders, we will work closely with our vendors to expedite any parts not in stock to return the unit back to 100% service. Should the parts meet pre-determined criteria, JBT will ask you to return the failed parts at our expense. You will be provided with a return goods authorization (RGA) number to mark the failed part and return box for easy identification.
